What is ARMHS?

Adult Rehabilitative Mental Health Services (ARMHS) are specialized programs designed to empower individuals with the skills and strategies necessary to manage the complexities of their mental health conditions, fostering greater independence and improving overall quality of life. These services may include assistance with medication management, enhancing daily living skills, accessing community resources, building social and communication skills, and setting and achieving personal goals related to mental health and well-being.

At All Health, Inc., we offer a comprehensive ARMHS program tailored to support adults facing the challenges of mental health diagnoses. Our services are primarily delivered in the comfort of the individual’s home or within their community, with a central focus on improving mental health and functionality in daily life.

We aim to promote recovery, resilience, and meaningful engagement in life and community activities for individuals with mental health conditions. Our team of experienced mental health professionals and paraprofessionals work closely with each individual to address their unique needs, creating a personalized path to enhanced well-being.

The specific services offered and eligibility criteria for ARMHS may vary by state or region. For accurate information tailored to your area, we recommend contacting your local mental health authorities or service providers. Our commitment is to help individuals lead more fulfilling lives by equipping them with the tools they need to navigate their mental health journey with confidence and independence.

Difference Between Traditional Therapy and ARMHS

Traditional Therapy:

  • Focuses on discussing and processing experiences, thoughts, and feelings to promote personal growth and improve quality of life.
  • Typically conducted in an office setting or via Telehealth.
  • Sessions are generally held once a week and last around 60 minutes.

ARMHS (Adult Rehabilitative Mental Health Services):

  • Focuses on teaching practical skills to resolve immediate challenges and improve quality of life.
  • Delivered in various settings, including your home, community, or via Telehealth.
  • Sessions can occur multiple times a week, totaling up to 5 hours per week.

Both services aim to support mental health and well-being but differ in their approach and structure to meet varying needs.

How Does ARMHS Work?

In a typical session, an ARMHS worker will meet with you, either at your home or in a community setting, for a duration of 30 minutes to 3 hours, depending on your needs. During these sessions, the worker will guide and support you in the following ways:

  • Understanding Your Mental Health: Helping you identify and understand your mental health symptoms and how they affect your daily life.
  • Learning and Practicing Skills: Teaching practical skills to address the challenges caused by your mental health symptoms.
  • Applying Skills in Real-Life Situations: Supporting you in using these skills in everyday scenarios to help you achieve your personal goals.
  • Evaluating and Improving: Collaborating with you to assess what strategies worked and identifying ways to improve for future success.

ARMHS sessions are personalized to your unique goals and focus on building skills to enhance your independence and quality of life.
